On the weekend of May 28 and 29, FAUNATURA was in the Palmeral de Orihuela carrying out a nest box workshop to promote the nesting of birds such as the European roller, the hoopoe, the European scops owl or the woodpecker.
All of them bring us great benefits by naturally controlling insect or rodent pests in our environment.
In these days, both children and adults were able to enjoy assembling and varnishing the boxes that, later, will be placed in the surroundings of the Palm Grove, hoping that in the future they can be inhabited by these wonderful birds.
