The Palm Grove is declared a “Picturesque Site”, according to Decree 2262/1963 of July 24, (B.O.E. of September 7, 1963).
1985
Law 13/1985, of June 25, of the Spanish Historical Heritage, in its Eighth Transitory Provision, establishes that the “Picturesque Places” retain the condition of Asset of Cultural Interest as long as they are not re-classified according to the final provision of Law 15 / 1975 of May 2, Protected Natural Areas.
1998
On the other hand, LAW 4/1998, of June 11, of the Generalitat Valenciana, of the Valencian Cultural Heritage in its first additional provision establishes that “Assets of Cultural Interest are considered members of the Valencian cultural heritage all the existing assets in the territory of the Valencian Community that at the entry into force of this Law have been declared Assets of Cultural Interest under Law 16/1985, of June 25, of the Spanish Historical Heritage” either individually or under its Provisions Additional First and Second.
